“This cabin is AWESOME! Very clean, nice and relaxing with the big wrap around porch with rocking chairs and a large table to enjoy eating outside! Great location! The host were very nice and helpful! They meet you and take you up to cabin to show you around! Starbucks coffee was provided along with cookies and biscotti! Enjoyed this every morning listening to the stream below. Anything in their pantry was yours to use! The hot tub was very nice and clean. They definitely go the extra mile! Can’t wait to go and stay again!!”

“Tom and Sue are sensational people with servant hearts. They contacted us very soon after we booked one of their properties to see if there was anything they could help with or provide for us to make our stay even more special or comfortable. On the day of arrival, Tom met up with us and escorted us to our rental and took the time to kindly show us around the house a bit, including which switches turned on the waterfall and the porch lights, a special job just for our 7 year old daughter. The house was very well updated and beautifully decorated, clean and fresh. The porch swing was spectacular and I can confirm that it is a splendid place for a nap! We had everything we needed in the kitchen to make our meals. The hot tub was sparkling clean and our family of three enjoyed it several times. My daughter enjoyed sleeping in the loft twin beds with her doll, and my husband and I stayed down the hall in the other bedroom. From the cabin we scouted and found about a dozen elk in Cataloochee Valley, experienced waterfalls locally (Soco Falls, Mingo Falls) and in Pisgah National Forest (Lookinglass Falls, Moore Cove Falls and Sliding Rock), and had a great time earning a Junior Ranger badge at the Ocunaluftee Visitor Center in the Smokies. Lake Junaluska is a fantastic walk and the history of the person the lake is named after is very interesting as well. Also, if you are out and see a kind gentleman along the creek near the golf course walking with his golden retriever, Abby, say hi for us! Abby is just the cutest and sweetest dog! She is an instant friend. We enjoyed our stay immensely and we can’t thank Tom and Sue enough for their communication, care, friendliness, warmth and passion for caring for their properties and guests. We so enjoyed the chocolate chip cookies, the perfect taste of home, away from home. We would definitely stay at one of their properties again. We hope to visit Maggie Valley again someday soon!”
Meghan’s private feedback for you:
“Tom and Sue, thank you so kindly for all of your personal touches to our stay along with attention to detail. We really appreciated you taking the time to call us after booking your property, for escorting us to the property, for the welcome tour to get our bearings, and especially for the homemade cookies! We could not have felt more comfortable, more at home, or more at peace in your house. We really enjoyed the peace and quiet, the location and just the time together with family. Many thanks for all of your efforts towards making our stay and pleasant and memorable one! Until next time!”

Hospitality out of this world. Tom is always so easy to get in contact with about any little thing. We had a birthday cake for my husband and daughter and homemade chocolate chip cookies when we arrived. The little touches really make it like home. My dogs and kids loved the creek. This was one of our top vacations so far. We truly loved it and thanks again Tom and Sue, the extra mile and extra effort is highly noted! Stay well and until next time!”
