Great place to stay

The cabin was roomy, beds were comfortable, the Kitchen was well stocked with everything to prepare a meal including condiments. The porch was great for relaxing after hiking all day. The location close to Great Smoky National Park and Blue Ridge Parkway was great. The only con was the noise from U S 19 which was due to the large number of motorcycles (primarily Harley-Davidson with their loud pipes) in town for the weekend, but even that noise was not noticeable inside the cabin, only when sitting on the porch. Tom and Sue were most helpful. We would stay there again.

They set the bar pretty high at Cabin in the Woods II.

First, I must say that I have never had a better intro to a cabin. Tom covered it all and before he left he said if we needed anything, he was a phone call away. We did not. The cabin is better than perfect. It had everything you could want and then some. It was the best I have ever rented. I am usually happy if most everything works at a rental. Not a problem to be found anywhere. Location is both private and close to town. They go the extra mile for you at this place. Thoughtful touches everywhere you look. Make you feel right at home. The light switches are labeled so you don’t have to experiment, helpful notes everywhere, extra supplies in case you forgot anything and cookies for you when you arrive. Who does that? Tom does!

Girls weekend away

Property was exactly as advertised. Very well maintained, clean, and spacious. Right on the creek so we enjoyed the complimentary coffee and biscotti outside and enjoyed listening to the water. The hotub was enjoyable in the evening after a day of tubing nearby in Cherokee. This location was central to everything we wanted to do and the drive up to it wasn’t bad once we learned turn left at the gingerbread house 🙂 The owners are so sweet and accommodating and my party thoroughly enjoyed the fresh baked cookies during our stay. I’ve already handed out my brochures to family for our next reunion.
