More then expected

My family and friends stayed in this cabin for 7 days (10 people in total). If we had known how great it was going to be we would of booked it longer. This cabin has exceeded and raised our standards of what to expect in a rental. You will not probably find another that is centrally located to Waterfalls, White Water Rafting, State Parks, History, Leisure Activities, Food and just good old relaxation. You will not get bored there. The owners were great. They took us to the cabin and went through everything to show us all about the cabin to help us make this our home for our stay. The fresh flowers in the rooms and the homemade cookies give it a great personal touch. Nothing is left out. When you rent this cabin, make sure you go to see the Elk in the State Park. As a unscheduled bonus, we had the pleasure of seeing a live bear in its own habitat that stopped and posed for pictures. Something that will probably never happen in our neck of the woods at home. We will be renting again.

A great stay in Maggie Valley

My husband and I plus son-in-law, daughter, and three grandchildren(ages 6,7, and 14) enjoyed a great stay at cabin #1. It was clean, and roomy, and close to lots of great attractions for all of us. Probably one of the best things about this cabin is the owners. They were so very gracious and hospitable. They made us feel very welcome. We would certainly recommend this rental to any of our friends who are planning a mountain get-away!

Loved It!!

Just returned from a short trip to Maggie Valley to visit with relatives. This was our second stay in one of the Creek ‘n Woods vacation rentals. Tom & Sue are wonderful owners and make sure every detail is perfect. Once again, the home exceeded our expectations! It was beautifully decorated, well equipped, the beds were super comfortable and it has a large porch for relaxing. The Wi-Fi worked great which is always important to us. We even arrived to a fresh batch of chocolate chip cookies! We only wish we could have stayed longer! We will definitely be back!

And exhale….

that is what you will do in this beautiful retreat home. My family enjoyed 4 days together for a small family reunion and this home simply took our breathe away. From the views, the waterfalls, the relaxing atmosphere… Tom and Sue made sure to put the smallest details to ensure you felt right at home. The children (aged 18 months up to 14 years) all had a wonderful time, the older ones loved the hot tub, the mountains, the game loft and their getaway area in the lower level… while the babies loved sitting to enjoy the cookies Tom & Sue left for us to welcome us. The road up to the house made you know you were up at the top, and the kids loved the ride. 🙂 The older children have dubbed this home as our new family tradition. We enjoyed going to Sliding Rock waterfalls to let the kids slide down, and the Gem mining to find treasures… lots to do for them… while my sister and I snuck away to enjoy lunch, and antique shopping in such a sweet downtown area on Main St…. The home provided everything you need, from cookware, dishware, fresh linens, towels, games, reading, bbq for grilling, even spices in the cabinet to make that shopping list a tad shorter. The master bedroom is such a beautiful space where you want to just sink in and enjoy the snuggles. My husband was able to work while we were away with the internet and simply, I cannot say enough. The pictures don’t do it justice… this home is one you truly arrive to, step out on the deck, hold your cup of coffee, take a deep breathe, and exhale…..
